After 6 months of research, development and testing we have an improved product with a new name, ZenA-min. We have added the latest, most up to date chelated vitamins, minerals, Biotin, Methionine and Anti-oxidants. ZenA-min is GMO free and is manufactured in Ontario. Quantity fed is the only difference between the average horse and the performance horse or one with issues.
Why feed a supplement?
- Soil deficiencies, depletion of nutrients is common.
- Over grazing
- Weather extremes which compromise the hay
- STRESS – hot humid weather adds extra stress especially for performance and working horses
- Environmental pollution
- Allergies and sensitivities
- Supplies necessary nutrients to overweight horses or horses on stall rest without the calories
Are you concerned about chronic coughing, heaves or poor feet?
A significant number of customers have reported a noticeable improvement in signs of chronic respiratory problems like coughing and wheezing when extra Zenamin is taken.
Slowly working up to a loading dose of 2 – 4 scoops a day is recommended for up to 4 weeks then gradually reduce the amount given. If the problem gets worse go back to the loading dose. Maintenance is different for each individual horse and it is safe to continue on the maximum for another 4 weeks then try reducing again. Look for a significant percentage of improvement with ZenA-min but note that there is no substitute for good stable management, avoiding as much dust, mold and dampness as possible.
We used the original formula for a 3-day event horse with soft flaky feet that abscessed frequently. Within 9 months she had amazing feet and was abscess free. Now 17 years later she still has strong, hard feet. Biotin is an essential, water soluble vitamin which is involved as a coenzyme in many metabolic reactions in the horse. Additional biotin has been implicated in improved hoof hardness, integrity and conformation. Methionine is an essential amino acid involved in an enormous number of functions in horse tissue, including growth and normal development and assisting in the utilization of the biotin.
ZenA-min provides Biotin, Sulphur, Methionine, Choline, Magnesium and Zinc – all essential cofactors in the provision of healthy hoof wall structures.
